Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando is up for MLS Save of the Year!
Rimando - who won Save of the Week an astounding seven times in 2012 - is in Save of the Year Group A twice, once for a diving stop on New England's Fernanda Cardenas in RSL's 2-1 win over the Revs on May 5 and once for an acrobatic stop on Portland's Rodney Wallace in RSL's 2-1 win over the Timbers on Sept. 22.
The U.S. international is up against the Chicago Fire's Sean Johnson and Sporting Kansas City's Jimmy Nielsen in Group A. Rimando could have other stops up for Save of the Year too, as Groups B, C, D have yet to be announced.
