- Happy two-year anniversary to striker extraordinaire Álvaro Saborío, who officially signed with Real Salt Lake via a loan deal with Swiss side FC Sion on March 15, 2010. The Costa Rican international has rewritten the RSL record books, becoming the first player in team history to bag double-digit goals in back-to-back years in regular season play while spearheading the team’s charge to the CONCACAF Champions League Finals with 8 goals in 11 games across the 2010/11 competition.
- With the return of the RSL Reserves that played Tuesday night at FC Dallas it’s back to full strength for Real Salt Lake today at training, as the full squad will be together for the first time all week at America First Field for today’s 11:00 a.m. session. A reminder to fans that, while all sessions at America First Field are open to the public, the squad will also be hosting an open practice session Friday at Rio Tinto Stadium at 11:00 a.m. … RSL Facebook Fans are asked to RSVP for tomorrow morning’s hour-long session at “The RioT” via the “Real Week” tab at RSL’s Facebook page.
- Real Week 2012 rolls on Thursday with the continuation of the “City Scarfing”scavenger hunt, being run through the team’s Facebook pages via Instagram photos.
