- A reminder to those planning on attending Real Salt Lake’s training session today at America First Field that the start time has been moved back to 12:00 p.m. (originally announced for 11:00 a.m.). The session will likely last right around 90 minutes and be followed by media availability for all players and coaches in attendance.
- Remember all the attention and positive vibes Real Salt Lake earned during last spring’s run through the CONCACAF Champions League Championship Phase? Well it’s time to return the love, as tonight marks the first matchday for MLS teams in the Quarterfinal Round, with Toronto FC hosting the LA Galaxy (6:00 p.m. MT) in front of an expected record crowd at Rogers Centre before Seattle welcomes Santos Laguna of the Mexican Primera Division (8:00 p.m. MT) to CenturyLink Field. Both games will be broadcast live on FOX Soccer.
- There’s another website to bookmark for your daily MLS browsing pleasure, as NBC Sports has launched ProSoccerTalk to bolster its coverage of Major League Soccer. Veteran scribe Steve Davis will be the lead contributor to the site, which is a complement to NBC Sports’ other similar websites covering professional sports in the United States.
