Wasatch Front’s Crafts Leader to Honor “Soccer Moms”
at all 17 Regular Season Contests in Sandy
SANDY, Utah (Thursday, March 3, 2011) – Real Salt Lake is proud to announce the return of the “OhMyCrafts.com Mom of the Match” award, which launched successfully during RSL’s record-breaking 2010 campaign at Rio Tinto Stadium. For Real Salt Lake’s 2011 season, Utah’s Major League Soccer side and the Wasatch Front’s most popular crafts store will team up to recognize one outstanding “soccer mom” or “team mom” at all 17 MLS regular season contests in Sandy, beginning with the high-profile showdown against the L.A. Galaxy on Saturday, March 26 (7:00 p.m. MT kickoff).
“Real Salt Lake is honored to recognize the hard-working soccer moms of Utah in a small way via the ‘OhMyCrafts.com Mom of the Match’ recognition,” said Real Salt Lake Senior V.P. of Business Operations, John Kimball. “We couldn’t have been more pleased with OhMyCrafts.com’s support of the program during its debut last year and are looking forward to partnering again in 2011.”
This year, each “OhMyCrafts.com Mom of the Match” winner will receive a gift from OhMyCrafts.com and four (4) tickets to a Real Salt Lake match, where the recipient will be recognized during an on-field, pre-game ceremony. To nominate a worthy candidate for the honor, fans must submit the following information via email to RSLmom@OhMyCrafts.com:

- Your email address
- Mom’s name
- Mom’s email address
- Mom’s phone number
- Soccer club/Team affiliation
- A 100-word-or-less “nomination letter,” explaining why she deserves to be the “OhMyCrafts.com Mom of the Match”
Please note that a nomination does not guarantee the awarding of the “OhMyCrafts.com Mom of the Match” honor, and parking, food, and transportation costs to/from the match are not included in the prize package.
