SANDY, Utah (Monday, February 21, 2011) – While most Major League Soccer teams are easing into their preseason, Real Salt Lake is getting ready to take part in the two most important matches in club history, beginning with Tuesday’s opening leg of its CONCACAF Quarterfinal Round series against the Columbus Crew. Kickoff at Crew Stadium in Columbus is slated for 6:00 p.m. MT, and fans can follow the contest live via television on FOX Soccer and Galavision and over the radio airwaves on ESPN 700 (America First Credit Union Pre-match Report @ 5:00 p.m.), ESPN Deportes 1600-AM, and Homero 106.1-FM. Fans will also be able to follow the proceedings from the Buckeye State online via the club’s official Twitter feed (@RealSaltLake) and MLSsoccer.com’s MatchCenter.

Fans Invited to Official RSL Watch Party v. The Crew at Rio Tinto Stadium

Real Salt Lake invites fans of the Claret-and-Cobalt to gather at Rio Tinto Stadium on Tuesday night for the Official RSL Watch Party for the CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal opener against the Columbus Crew. Doors for the 6:00 p.m. MT contest will open at 5:15 p.m. RSL Season Ticket Holders will have free admission for the Watch Party and can pick up their tickets for the 2011 campaign at the event, while non-season ticket holders will be charged a $10 entrance fee, which can be used towards payment for a 2011 RSL season ticket package.


Seats for tomorrow’s RSL Watch Party are “first-come, first-served” and no reservations will be accepted, so fans are advised to arrive early to claim their seats. Free parking will be available in the Stadium’s West Lot, and all fans in attendance can win door prizes courtesy of Real Salt Lake – including merchandise from the RSL Team Store’s new 2011 line of gear – while watching the FOX Soccer call of the contest on the Club Restaurant’s 12 big-screen TV’s.
