2017: Returned to Utah signing with the Monarchs where he played his best season as a professional, scoring nine goals and was second on the team in assists with six. Velasquez made 25 starts and played in 27 total matches for the club.
2016: Was the first player to be signed by NASL Expansion side Rayo OKC where he made 16 appearances, scoring two goals.
2015: Traded to New York City FC in December 2014, Velasquez made five starts with 12 appearances over 446 minutes for the MLS Expansion side.
2014: Appeared in 10 matches with one start notching one goal and a pair of assists for Real Salt Lake.
2013: Made 19 regular season appearances – nine of which were starts – in his second year as a pro … Recorded three assists and zero goals in the regular season … Notched his first assist in RSL’s 2-1 win over Seattle Sounders FC on March 30 … Provided an assist in a 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on May 4 … Recorded an assist in a 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire on May 25 … Appeared in all five of Real Salt Lake’s five postseason games – two of which were starts … Scored his first career goal in RSL’s 2-0 win over LA Galaxy in the second leg of the Western Conference semifinal
2012: Played nine regular season games – starting five – in his rookie season … Didn’t officially score a goal or provide an assist in league play, but did cause a play that led to a L.A. own goal in RSL’s season opening 3-1 win at the Galaxy on March 10 … Started the first three matches of the season, going 89 minutes in the opener at L.A., playing 84 minutes in RSL’s 2-0 win over New York on March 17 and going the first half in the Claret-and-Cobalt’s home loss to Chivas on March 24 … Didn’t play in RSL’s fourth of fifth game of the season, but again was in the starting lineup for games six and seven, playing 58 minutes in the team’s 2-0 win over Colorado on April 7 and going 63 minutes in the Claret-and-Cobalt’s April 14 loss at Kansas City … Made just two appearances in RSL’s next 25 league games, playing a total of 18 minutes as a sub in RSL’s win at Dallas on April 26 and in the team’s loss at San Jose on July 14 … Appeared in RSL’s final two regular season games off the bench, coming in for 19 minutes on Oct. 17 at L.A. and 27 minutes on Oct. 27 against Vancouver … Made an appearance off the bench in RSL’s 0-0 CONCACAF Champions League draw against C.S. Herediano on Oct. 23
