Career Summary
A Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy graduate, Salcedo surprised observers around MLS with his solid play in 2013, coming from seemingly nowhere to step in and perform very well in 13 league games, 12 of which were starts. Having only turned 20 last September, Salcedo &ndash; who trained with the RSL first-team for the second half of 2012 before being officially added to the roster in January 2013 &ndash; has a bright future ahead of him and could see more time for the Claret-and-Cobalt in the 2014 season<br>

<strong>2013: </strong>Made a total of 13 regular season appearances, 12 of which were starts &hellip; Recorded a total of 1,070 minutes played &hellip; Played the full 90 minutes in 11 regular season games ... RSL went 8-3-2 when Salcedo featured for the club. Did not register a goal or assist in 2013 &hellip; Made his professional debut on May 4 against Vancouver, coming on in the 89<sup>th</sup> minute of RSL&rsquo;s 2-0 home win &hellip; Made his first professional start in RSL&rsquo;s 2-1 win on May 8 at New England &hellip; Was misidentified and incorrectly shown a second yellow card and ejected in the 90<sup>th</sup> minute of RSL&rsquo;s May 8 game at New England, later had the card rescinded and thereby did not face a suspension<br />

<strong>2012:</strong>&nbsp;While not officially a part of RSL&rsquo;s roster, Salcedo spent the entire second half of the 2012 season training with the Claret-and-Cobalt with the understanding that he&rsquo;d join the first-team in January 2013 &hellip; He played at right back and center back in several Reserve League games for the Claret-and-Cobalt<br />

Spent seven months at the Real Salt Lake-Arizona Academy in Casa Grande, Ariz. from January 2012-July 2012 &hellip; Before joining the RSL-AZ Academy, Salcedo was a part of Mexican club Tigres UANL&rsquo;s youth setup &hellip; Prior to joining Tigres, Salcedo played alongside RSL goalkeeper Lalo Fernandez at the Chivas Guadalajara Academy<br>
