Stories to Watch:

Welcome Back

After missing the last match due to yellow card accumulation, midfielder Damir Kreilach will once again be available for selection against FC Dallas. Since joining the club in 2018 Kreilach has only missed five matches, taking the pitch in 106 regular-season games out of a possible 111, totaling 8,932 minutes for Real Salt Lake. Despite missing the last match, Kreilach has the second-most minutes played already this season, appearing in 1,712 minutes and is only bested by captain Albert Rusnak.

Gone But Not Forgotten

When FC Dallas takes the pitch this weekend they will be without their leading goal scorer Ricardo Pepi who has netted 11 goals, and their leading assist giver Szabolcs Schon, who has contributed six assists this season. Both players will be with their respective national teams to aid in qualification efforts for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Also absent from Saturdayā€™s match will be Bryan Acosta and Freddy Vargas who are also away with their respective national teams. For Real Salt Lake, winger Justin Meram will not be available due to his endeavors in helping Iraq qualify for the World Cup.

Time to Rally at the RioT

With only six games remaining at Rio Tinto Stadium and the standings becoming increasingly close, home games become even more important as the team looks to hold onto its current position above the playoff line. There are currently only seven points that separate the 5th place and 11th place in the West, with Real Salt Lake sitting in seventh separated on either side by only one point. With a current record of 5-2-4 when playing at home, these next six games will prove vital in determining where the team will finish come November.

Connections: Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas have two of the highest total Homegrown minutes in the entire league. RSL has logged 6,379 minutes from Homegrown players ā€“ the most in the league, while Dallas has logged 5,007 minutes from Homegrowns, good for the third-most in the league.
